OO this sounds really interesting, but I agree it would make a security hazard ... however I'm sure they would find something to this.

Obviously the devices that work with this still have to be designed for customer use and stuff as well .. so I'm sure there will be some sort of validation required to be able to draw power from a certain source ...

For example I'm thinking of a small battery-like thing that has a certain security code stored and send this code to the power source to verify that it's allowed to draw power from this.
