I'm going to ask that noone comment, please. Don't talk, just think.

I was talking with someone who reposted something about Obamacare, that I believe was something the media has blown out of proportion.

Here's my reasoning.

So the better thing to do is "Like/Share this if you want our nation to stop approving waivers for individual businesses and not everyone" (Which may not be true anyway, read on) not "Like/Share because every single thing about obamacare is bad and it needs to be repealed asap"

I know its not your fault, and its a re-posting, but i dont like when people say "ABOLISH OBAMACARE" because every aspect of obamacare isn't bad. I HAVE healthcare this year BECAUSE of obamacare.

So when people say "get rid of obamacare" its like saying "You shouldnt have healthcare, Cait" And when the DRs cant figure out whats wrong with me, its very expensive even WITH healthcare, much less without.

Either way, until the fed govt healthcare is actually enacted and they actually ARE being all waived individually, I wouldn't get too upset with it..

It seems like everytime people get upset over something, it turns out not being how they think it is and worthy upset with. xD

Like years and years ago back when DVD was brand new there were "rumors" about how you had to pay for your dvd online everytime you wanted to watch it, and tons of people were like "OMG DVDS GUNNA SUCK BAD, Lets boycott them! VHS forever!" but we found out - that was not the case at all, lol.. and you cant even buy a VCR in the store anymore without a DVD player being attached to it.

And when everyone was so happy when Bush sent everyone those "free checks", and Bush was 'the greatest' and all that, he took it all back and more later on, lol. I dont remember the specifics, but I suppose I could look it up.

So all in all, the media is all hype, and it's best to do your own research.... because most of everything everyone says is a lie, and I've learned not to trust anyone unless I've done my own research.

For example: most people that hate obama care hate it because of the supposid "Everyone must pay a fee if they dont have health care" But what most people dont DO is THEIR OWN RESEARCH.. (Not saying you dont, but a lot of people just go based upon what they see on tv and the such) Look at the official http://www.healthcare.gov/ page..

"Individual Responsibility:

Under the Affordable Care Act, starting in 2014, you must be enrolled in a health insurance plan that meets basic minimum standards. If you aren't, you may be required to pay an assessment. You won't have to pay an assessment if you have very low income and coverage is unaffordable to you, or for other reasons including your religious beliefs. You can also apply for a waiver asking not to pay an assessment if you don't qualify automatically."

Pretty much, if you dont want to pay the fee, you don't have to.. and there's nothing stating that you can't apply for a waiver -YOURSELF- JUST like the USPS does.

I'd just like to raise awareness - that a lot of people are blowing things out of proportion and it may not be as bad as everyone thinks its going to be, lol ^_^
