"Hurst's Cajun Bean soup..
My recipe :D
Soak the beans overnight in water in the fridge.. Put in the pot, with about 2-3" of water on top of them (add water as it dries out cooking)
... Put some oregano, coriander, crushed red pepper, and accent seasoning in the beans.
Let it cook on medium-high for 2 hours.. Then 1/2 hr before it's done, Put 1lb of Jimmy Dean's Spicy Sausage in the pan, and cook till brown, add about 14oz of tomato paste slightly watered down (Or crushed tomatoes) to the spicy sausage, along with a bunch of garlic and onion powder.. Cook till bubbley. Mix with the beans. Add 2 heaping tablespoons of sour cream...
Put a bit of sour cream on top of the beans in your bowl... and EAT.
