Just because the nerd stereotype is horrible, doesn't mean you are.
In actuality, nerds are better than geeks because they arent unhealthily obsessed with one or two things... you could be a successful business man passionate about computers.. come home.. be passionate about your animals, about star wars, about your wife, etc. While geeks could still be in their parents basement obsessing over World of Warcraft ;3.
Which brings us to what a Nerd really is. A nerd is a geek, but is passionate about a variety of subjects insted of just a few.
Unfortunately, the nerd stereotype is in actuality what a "dork" is... Watch any stupid teenage movie. A nerd will be some scary person with thick glasses, pocket protectors, runny nose, etc. So you will have a harder time in life because the movies brainwash the average mind.
But remember, Nerds can be pretty too! Ignore the stereotypes! Achieve world domination!
