SOOO some random guy asked me, uh, out? today.. at work.. heres the story O_o.

 

[22:47] <~Cait> im at walmart today and over the PA, someone announces "customer assitance to computers" so im bored and i go over there, and i ask the guy "can i help you with something
[22:48] <~Cait> hes asking me the difference betweeen windows 7 and Vista, and blah blah so im telling him and im im like, well vista sux and 7 is new, so prolly sux less than vista, but i cant upgrade to 7 cuz my mmo doesnt support it and etc.

[22:48] <~Cait> and he asks me for my phone number.
[22:48] <Gan> ooh
[22:48] <~Cait> "...Uh i have dialup so i dont really talk on the phone"

[22:49] <~Cait> so i said "come back to my table"and i explained i worked in fabrics, but i wasbored so wandered over to the computers...
[22:49] <~Cait> so i gave him my email address and told him about trickster and whatnot,

[22:49] <~Cait> and he said "Oh.. so what time you get out?" "10" "wow long night, wannna grab something to eat after?"
[22:49] <~Cait> and at this point, im starting to have a huge anxiety attack.

[22:50] <~Cait> no guy has ever talked to me like that, ever. much less asked me out
[22:50] <Gan> sal! D:
[22:50] <~Cait> He said "itd be nothing serious like a date, but you know just friendly"
[22:50] <Gan> cait, pic?
[22:50] <~Cait> so i say "well, maybe tomarrow..."

[22:51] <~Cait> so anyway,

[22:51] <~Cait> So he said "call me" gave me his # and left
[22:51] <~Cait> so i go back to doign stuff..
[22:51] <~Cait> he came back like 8 minutes later..
[22:51] <~Cait> and said "hey are you really bored?"
[22:51] <~Cait> i said "Yea, pretty much"
[22:51] <Gan> haha
[22:51] <~Cait> so he sat and talked to me for like an hour about nerdy things
[22:51] <Gan> wow, this guy's forward
[22:51] <Gan> lol
[22:52] <~Cait> and then i started to get customers, and hes like "sure you dont wanna grab something after work!?"
[22:52] <~Cait> and so im just like "ehhhh" and im trying to concentrate on the customer, and trying to think about whats going on, and being freaked out
[22:52] <Gan> mhm
[22:52] <~Cait> he said "Ok, just call me later, ok" so i said "ok"
[22:52] <~Cait> 1/2 hr later, i went on my break and called my dad, but he was sleeping
[22:52] <Gan> haha
[22:52] <~Cait> so i called the guy back...
[22:53] <Gan> and?
[22:53] <~Cait> and i said "hey this is caitlin from fabrics.." he goes "OH! Hi, i didnt think you were gunna call me"
[22:53] <~Cait> Him: cuz, well you seemed like you were kinda...
[22:53] <~Cait> and i interupt him and say
[22:53] <~Cait> Me: Really anxious and nervous and not knowing whats goin on? Yeah
[22:53] <~Cait> Him: ....yeah thats it
[22:53] <~Cait> XD
[22:53] <Gan> ooh
[22:54] <~Cait> and so hes going on about whatever, and about his old gf
[22:54] <Gan> seems self-centered
[22:54] <~Cait> and hes like "well i have high morals and whatever, but im not guna lie to you, i lost my virginity when i was 25 and if you havent i think thats cute, but like, i wasted a ton of money on my ex driving up and we were engaged and blahblah blah blah blah blah"
[22:54] <~Cait> and going on baout his parents and stuff
[22:54] <~Cait> i barely got any words in at all, lol

[22:55] <~Cait> mentioning something taht personal, over the phone to somoene you just met!??

[22:57] <Gan> say something like, "I'm gonna go run some errands. Do you wanna come and eat lunch after, or meet somewhere when I'm done?"
[22:57] <Gan> So like, you give him the choice, and don't force him into anything, I guess
