Red Roof Inn Complaints

caitaroSince it was the snow storm, we didn't really have much choice besides the Red Roof Inn, seeing as we work at Walmart.
I called them from walmart and they quoted me a king room at 60$.
When we got there, we couldn't even make it in the parking lot because the snow was too high to make clearance. We went inside and the employee just gave us a snow shovel.. We had to shovel the red roof inn driveway AND a parking spot.
After finally shoveling and parking, the only room available was a double bed one, and that was for 75$... After all that shoveling, we had no choice but to take it.
We got in, and our room reeked of smoke, the floors were dirty dusty.. The refrigerator was on and supposedly working, but it wasn't cold inside at all.
Going down to the lobby, we found that the computer was out of service, and the orange juice was chunky.
It was overall a pretty crappy experience, especially for 75$. There's many other hotels in town for much cheaper, around $40.. But as i said before, we had no choice because of the weather..
Because of this though, It's probably going to be the only reason we stay there, seeing as how it really wasn't what we expected, especially seeing as how much we paid for it.
