The saddest kitty story ever

 [20:39] Cait: Years and years ago, i got a kitten from a no kill shelter... She farted a lot, so we named her Tooter.. i was aboutt 5 or 6 at the time
[20:40] Cait: She was a lazy cat, and got RIDICULOUSLY fat. xD
[20:40] Cait: But she loved everyone...
[20:40] Erica: Chubby cats are so cute. And that's the best name ever. XD
[20:40] Cait: and whenever anyone sat indian style, she would immedietly come sit in their lap
[20:40] Cait: Like even if shes like 4 rooms away, her LAP SENSE TINGLED.. and she came

[20:41] Cait: In 2004, A homeless man gave me a kitten and wanted to marry me o_O
[20:41] Cait: I was like.. nah but ill take the kitten

[20:41] Cait: She had babies in 2005...
[20:41] Erica: Omg. That's creepy. But like, a nice gesture. lol

[20:41] Cait: i went to see him a lot though, he campd out nearby
[20:41] Cait: I duno how my parents allowed this.. xD

[20:42] Cait: black kitten named = Retard, since he was REALLY, REALLY stupid..
[20:42] Cait: But tooter fell in love with retard.. and I dunno why
[20:42] Cait: ive got pics, ill link you if i find em, but... they licked eachother and laid together and it was 100% love, like you didnt think cats could love

[20:43] Cait: Tooter developed a spot on her paw
[20:43] Cait: that grew and got raw..
[20:43] Cait: Took her to the vet, they didnt know..
[20:43] Cait: asked online, and they told me im a bad owner for keeping her alive with the spot.
[20:43] Cait: It was clean, and she didnt act hurt, or anything
[20:44] Cait: I was pissed.
[20:44] Erica: Everyone seems to think if a pet can't be cared for in PERFECT CONDITION, you hould kill it, because it's the "right thing to do".
[20:44] Cait: If your grandma is sick, you dont kill her..
[20:44] Cait: Yeah
[20:44] Cait: you keep her safe and happy..
[20:44] Cait: so i totally understand where you're coming from.
[20:44] Erica: I saved turtle eggs last year after a rain storm. When I asked for help making a homemade incubator, I was yelled at for saving them.
[20:44] Erica: ...Because I couldn't afford to buy an incubator.

[20:45] Erica: So I should have left the eggs to get eaten.
[20:45] Cait: i love turtles

[20:45] Cait: Anyway, ill finish the story, even though its not super relevant.... She was getitng a bit old, but still happy and climb into laps. and still in love with retard.
[20:45] Cait: Retard disappeared one day...
[20:46] Cait: he had disappeared before, so i wasnt too worried, but on my way to work, i saw a black cat along side the road not far from my house..
[20:46] Cait: I couldnt stop cuz i had to go to work,
[20:46] Cait: When i came home, it was gone.
[20:46] Cait: retard never came back, so it had to have been him
[20:46] Cait: 2 days later from that date
[20:46] Cait: Tooter died.
[20:46] Erica: D:
[20:46] Cait: and im thinking, maybe she knew... maybe she was heartbroken.
[20:46] Cait: saddest story, EVER
[20:47] Erica: Yeah, cats seem to be able to sense things.
[20:47] Cait: But i love my kitties, i'd never ever ever put them to sleep
[20:47] Erica: Death, sadness, etc.
[20:47] Erica: There's a cat at one of the nursing homes here - the ones for people literally on their way out - that'll visit people within a few hours of them dying.
[20:47] Erica: He's never been wrong. It's so weird.
[20:48] Erica: That's how the doctors know the call the family and have them come say their goodbyes.
