I saw the sign at the bookstore yesterday.... and I said to (Barb I think) "There's no other nerd gatherings around here! D:"
SOOOooooo I was pretty shocked to see a nerd gathering. I may go next tuesday, we'll see.
I'm ridiculously shy though, let's see if I can work up the courage o.o;

Hahha it's fine. I think the best way that I learn is to be pushed! For example, I used to be a LOT worse till I worked at Walmart, and was FORCED to talk to people... and now it's a bit better. Not 100% to where I'd like to be, but I can at least say Hi to people now.... Sometimes.. >_< lol

Hahha it's fine. I think the best way that I learn is to be pushed! For example, I used to be a LOT worse till I worked at Walmart, and was FORCED to talk to people... and now it's a bit better. Not 100% to where I'd like to be, but I can at least say Hi to people now.... Sometimes.. >_< lol
The thing is, though.... Whereas I'm most definitely a nerd... a nerd of almost every flavor.. (Anime, manga, console/handheld games, pc games, mmos, game development, graphic/web design, sci-fi, fantasy things, books in general, etc)... every flavor except for math... and mathy-sorts of things.... Like programming. I tried programming, and It was like Arrrrghhhhhhhhhhh I'm a nooob xD I'm not particularly religious in any sense.... But I'm open minded and respect peoples thoughts and opinions (especially if they are backed up! I love learning new ways of thinking about things!) Do you think I'd still be able to fit in? I literally have no "regular" friends to hang out with outside of my crazy friend Daniel, and some of the old ladies at Walmart, lol. |

secluding...
feeling indifferent twords most things..
not being around other people
lack desire for sexual activities
wont respond to social settings
follower not a leader

I like being along most of the time, but i do secretly crave relationships at times XD

*Has little, if any, interest in sexual experiences with another person (asexual!!)
*Takes pleasure in few, if any, activities and rarely experiences strong emotions (thats why i have anime~ to take me on the emotional rollercoaster i cant experience by myself!)
*Lacks close friends or confidantes other than first-degree relatives (Just shane + travis)
*Appears indifferent to praise or criticism ( pretty much )
*Shows emotional coldness, detachment or flattened emotions (emotionless~)
So yeah...
in the event i ever see marianne again i should talk to her about this.
