Because im a whiney ass bitch who doesn't deserve to live, i complained to my ISP because I can.
Corecom, in the past you have have been moderately okay.
You overcharged us by 100$ for 5 years for services we never had... Which isnt your department, its billing, and I understand that..
But recently, the service has been really crappy.. Here are my 3 main complaints...
1.) Time Used Information stopped updating in August of last year. Sure it's not something we NEED but it is interesting to see the statistics...
2.) You guys dont even support V.92 modems... Dialup is pretty much dead for any regular internet users... and you guys /still/ havent upgraded to support this. Yes everyone in my house is mad at me for not being able to have anyone call us. But, we can't afford a cell phone, so... tough luck for them,
3.) This is the big one. This is why I decided to write this email this morning. Back in 2001 when this was still DMCI, we used to get busy signals at all times of the day and couldnt connect. When they were bought out by Voyager, that stopped. When they were bought out by Corecomm, pretty much everything stayed the same, but we got this nifty online account viewer. In the past, oh, year or so (which ironically is when the time used information got cut off) we've been experiencing busy signals... at most times of the day. USUALLY at night / early morning hours. Usually it also only lasts 5-10 minutes at the most, but tonight it lasted 45 minutes. I could connect at 5:00 am exactly. Not sure if theres some magical thing that resets ever hour or what.
I've talked to you guys about this before, and I got some crappy answer like "Oh, there wasnt enough operators available" or something. Even though I tried calling BOTH local phone numbers for here.
So, please fix this. This isnt 2001, you should have some control over being able to connect in the early morning.
Oh and before you go blaming my modem or something, I can connect to dialinfree's free dialup internet during the times where the internet is busy. They also support V92 modems... and are looking better all the time :/
